  • Cache Barnes - Director


    Cache has an undergraduate degree in Exercise Physiology from University of Central Arkansas. He has earned Level One and Level Two certificates from the Christian Counseling and Educational Foundation (CCEF) and is half-way through his Master’s Degree in Biblical Counseling. Cache has been involved in Redemption Groups, How People Change class, helping with interviews for missions candidates, and life on life ministry through his church, Bethlehem Baptist. Cache has been married to Kim for 13 years and they have 3 daughters. He enjoys doing anything with his wife and kids, but especially loves traveling and experiencing new places, foods, and cultures. Cache enjoys hanging out with friends, counseling, and anything Arkansas Razorback related.


    Cache is happy to meet with people from a variety of counseling contexts in individual, couple, or group formats. He has worked in corporate America for the last 14 years, and understands the temptations, pressures, and challenges associated with work life. Cache has spent brief stints of time overseas and understands some of the struggles of cross-cultural challenges. He has experience with addictions, depression, anger, as well as manipulative behaviors. Cache is also excited to help restore counseling back to the local church by God’s Grace through various classes, grassroots efforts, as well as strengthening the one-anothering culture of the church.

  • Ruth Bauman - Biblical Counselor


    Ruth graduated from a British High School in Hong Kong and has an undergraduate degree in Sociology from St Olaf College in Northfield, MN. She has earned Levels One, Two, and Three certificates from the Christian Counseling and Education Foundation (CCEF). Ruth is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Biblical Counseling from Northland International University in Dunbar, WI. She has served for six years on the Global Outreach Team, and for five years in women’s ministries at Bethlehem Baptist church. She is regularly involved in counseling and the Redemption Group ministry where she is one of several women leaders.

    Ruth has been married to Steve for almost 40 years and together they have raised their three sons. Three years ago Ruth was thrilled to welcome a daughter-in-law to the family as her first girl! Steve is an airline pilot, and Ruth often travels with him to visit friends, family and Global Partners all over the world. She enjoys hospitality, encouraging missionaries, mentoring women, spending time with family, reading, and music.


    Ruth is happy to meet with people in individual counseling, family counseling and in groups. She has experience with sexual addictions, addictions, sexual abuse, anxiety and fear, anger, infidelity and marriage issues, singleness, and parents with troubled adolescents, etc. She herself is an Adult Third Culture kid and enjoys meeting with those who are experiencing culture stress, issues of living overseas as a missionary or expatriate, and debriefing with those who are on furlough or returning home.

  • Kïrsten Christianson - Biblical Counselor


    Kïrsten Christianson is a biblical counselor with an eclectic body of training (BA, Seattle Pacific University; most of an MAC-P, The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology; continuing education at CCEF) and life experiences (touring the US, Europe and Africa for five years with a Christian theatre company and being raised on an Iowa farm). She is a co-founder of Bethlehem Baptist Church’s DART (Domestic Abuse Response Team) ministry, and currently serves as the Domestic Abuse Care Manager.  

    Kïrsten lives with her husband and son in the Twin Cities. She loves God, exploring theology, spending time with her family and friends, the company of women, reading and redemptive conversations. She loves the body of Christ and how we get to incarnate Jesus right in the midst of life!

  • Julia Crickenberger - Biblical Counselor



    Julia has a Bachelor of Science degree in Bible and Psychology from Columbia International University in South Carolina. She has earned the level one certificate from the Christian Counseling and Education Foundation (CCEF) and is taking classes toward her level two certificate. She has experience mentoring college women, and reaching out to friends both married and single from a variety of contexts. Julia and her husband Cam have been married for four years and have one baby daughter. Together, they enjoy watching movies, sharing meals with friends and doing projects around their home.


    Julia is passionate about walking alongside women who are struggling. She's had experience walking with women through difficult relationships (including romantic relationships, friendships and family relationships), anxiety, grief and loss, singleness, lust and pornography struggles, and people working in ministry or married to those in ministry. Julia has a heart for college students and young adults. She's also loved the experiences she had walking with young dating, engaged or married couples. She loves to see the body of Christ functioning in a way that brings glory to God and joy to his people. 

  • Caroline Jones - Biblical Counselor


    Caroline grew up in Dublin, Ireland, where she graduated from the Sion Hill Montessori College with a Diploma in elementary education. She also holds a Diploma in Music from the Incorporated Academy of Music, Dublin, and a Diploma in Speech and Drama from the London College of Music. She has earned Levels One, Two, and Three certificates from the Christian Counseling and Educational Foundation (CCEF). Caroline is currently completing her master’s degree in Biblical Counseling from Faith Bible Seminary in Lafayette, IN.

    Caroline recently retired from a 35-year career in education where she directed her own pre-school, taught children for many years, and acted as the Principal of Prairie Creek Community School, an elementary Charter School in Northfield, MN for 14 years. During this time she worked with hundreds of children and their families. She has also worked in children’s ministries at Bethlehem Baptist Church for ten years. Caroline has been married to Spencer for 40 years, and has two adult daughters, three grandchildren, and two step-grandchildren. When she has some spare time she loves to read, knit, bake, and play with her grandchildren.


    Caroline loves to counsel children and teens. She has a particular interest in working with families and considers this a very important part of her work with children. She has experience with anxiety, anger, self-injury, eating disorders, troubling thoughts and behaviors, child sexual abuse, sensory integration, and parenting issues. She uses play, puppets, sand-tray play, and the expressive arts in her biblical counseling.

  • Brendan Lebsack - Biblical Counselor


    Brendan was born and raised in Kearney, NE and graduated from the University of Nebraska at Kearney with a degree in Exercise Science.  He has completed Levels One, Two and Three of certification offered by the Christian Counseling and Education Foundation (CCEF) and is now working to complete a Master of Arts in Counseling from Westminster Theological Seminary.  Brendan’s ministry experience includes six years of campus ministry in various capacities and contexts including one year in Uganda, Africa.  He also has been involved at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Redemption Groups, lay counseling, teaching adult Sunday school classes, overseeing an urban youth outreach ministry and leading small groups.  Brendan has been married to Anna for two years and they recently welcomed their son into the world in late January 2017.  Along with his wife he likes to explore all the Twin Cities have to offer, especially the food.  Brendan enjoys music, exercising, counseling, traveling and watching football in his spare time.


    Brendan values the benefits of counseling in individual, couple, group and family settings and is happy to meet with people seeking help in any of these contexts.  He has experience walking with individuals in the midst of grief, singleness, depression and bipolar, addictions and marital issues.  Brendan has also had the privilege of knowing many children, youth and families from diverse backgrounds through eight years of working in the public schools and four years of involvement in urban youth ministry.  He understands many of the struggles children and adolescents face along with the difficulties their supporting families undergo, and has ample experience working with children with varieties of emotional and behavioral problems and mental and physical limitations.
